Summary from Pilot Studies:

Students claim the tutorials are very convenient (being online), easy to navigate, fun, interactive, user friendly, and informative. They feel that the subject matter within the tutorials is thoroughly covered, clearly stated, easy to read and understand, straight and to the point, and logical in flow. They especially liked the graphics, animations, clinical scenarios, examples, thinking questions, and the multiple practice items that provide immediate feedback. They thought it was great that they could immediately see their test results, review explanations of their test results, and receive positive feedback for their correct answers.

One student claimed that a tutorial “… explained everything very well and provided many examples.” Another one said the tutorial she was evaluating contained a great deal of valuable information that she knew she would be able to use in the future. One student commented, “It was very complete and detailed. It provided explanations for just about every topic and subtopic.” In addition, students appreciated the fact that the screens loaded relatively quickly and that they could work on the tutorials at home at their own pace.

Both students and instructors liked the look of the web site, the many graphics and the animations. One student claimed that the graphics were fun, helped her better understand the content, and kept the subject matter from being boring.
