The overall goal of this program is to help nurses enhance their ability to intervene effectively when patients are in pain. This tutorial was designed for nursing students or practicing nurses who wish to improve their ability to assess patients for pain and then be able to initiate appropriate nursing interventions to help alleviate or stop feelings of pain in their patients.

Content Overview:

The tutorial is divided into six modules. The first four modules are instructional units. The fifth module is a crossword puzzle to help users review the content of the tutorial in a fun and interactive way. The final module is a test bank.

Test results are recorded in databases on the EDGT server and are available for retrieval and review by both instructors and students.
